So after crashing badly and breaking a few bones in 2014 towards the end of the season I was ready and determined to make progress in 2015.
My goal for 2015 was to make it as a 2nd Cat rider, so I set the bar high and aimed to complete my first race on March 7th at a very chilly and windy Hog Hill.
My best performance for the year was probably riding the Etape du Tour race in France (same course as Stage 19 TDF). Out of 15,000 riders who started I managed to place 120th overall and boy I was glad to finish after 89 miles and a total elevation of over 5000 meters of climbing I could hardly feel my legs.
After the Etape du Tour I then carried on competing in various crits and road races where I managed to accomplish my goal as a 2nd Cat rider and end the season crash free! Below are my results for the season and as you can see I'm still yet to win a race.
Winning a race will be my next goal! Fingers crossed..
